My family & I come from Lake Charles, Louisiana. Southwest Louisiana. It’s swampy & Cajun.

I've also lived in New Orleans, uptown near a cemetery. I worked in the French Quarter, which is inspirational to say the least. You can hear world class jazz musicians in Jackson Square and visit a voodoo shop on lunch break. New Orleans sparkles in a tacky but beautiful way, which is what I hope comes through in the artwork. The town is a mixture of culture and imagery, and best of all it’s not subtle and it’s not supposed to be.
I always say it’s not the time spent there, it’s the mileage that it puts on you!

Color, composition and design have inspired me since I was little. There is also the side of me that loves glam rock, glam art, gold, and the 70’s. I am completely self-taught and inspired by the spirit of museums, traveling & getting ideas from amazing places like Cuba, Mexico, New Orleans, Italy...
